Mirah Ammal is a belly dancer (Middle Eastern dance performer) and belly dance teacher based in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota, also performing regularly in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and performing and teaching in other locations around the country. Mirah provides performances and entertainment for weddings, private parties, conferences, special events, festivals, cultural events, women's parties, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, baby showers, eid celebrations, norooz/nowrouz celebrations, theatrical shows, and more. Mirah also teaches weekly bellydance classes and belly dance workshops, as well as private lessons and coaching for belly dancers. As an instructor, her primary style is Egyptian raqs sharqi, but she also performs Lebanese, Greek, Turkish, Fusion, some Persian (Iranian) dance, and folkloric dance and instruction in other stylizations.
